Al is one of the main characters in Busted. He is Buster's best friend, and plays the "second banana" in many of the strips. Some of Al's dislikes include: that scratching-on-a-chalkboard sound, runny cheese, and the idea of his parents "doing it".
Dweeb is Buster's dog. All Buster wanted for Christmas was a nice little puppy. Instead, his tightwad parents went to the pound and found the only dog that they got paid to take away. Buster got Dweeb, the one-eyed, three-legged, blind, deaf, retarded, drooling dog. Buster also got his parents locked in the basement.
Marylou is the new kid in town. She recently moved in from Southern California, where her mother was a single-parent who ran a recycling collection center at UC Berkeley. She sees her self as a self-liberared equality warrior out for revenge...others see her as a left-end loony who's just out to lunch. The best way to piss her off: drive down the street in a giant, mid-60's Caddy, full leather interior, run over a few small, furry members of the "Spirit's" Creation, all the time smoking a giant, stinky cigar, wearing a fur coat, and having a prostitute in the front seat. By some odd coincidence, this also happens to be how Mike and I spend our weekends.

Cyrus' Ballad
Fire and bombs are fun;
I'd love to light every one!
If I were in "Driving Miss Daisy", I wouldn't be lazy,
I'd set off a carbomb and run!
It's hard to be a foreign exchange student. Coming into America, Jason had a hard time adjusting to the new culture, primitve technology, and rite of passage called "Wedgies". After a year, Jason has made his home here, and is glad to stay. After all, back home, he was not viewed as a hero to other kids for having a vaporizer. He is still seen as a wierdo at lunchtime, but eating mildew and Drain-o is kinda odd.
Maeve is the fourth of Buster's close friends. She really likes bothering her teachers, espically Mrs. Randall. Maeve and Buster has a lot in common. For example, they both always insist that they are right. Although there is some friction between Maeve and Buster, they still have respect for each other, and enjoy the time spent bothering each other.
These two depraved souls are two of the more interesting characters in the strip. George and Lennie are the two stereotypical schoolyard bullies. George, the little one, provides all the brains. Lennie, although he's big for his age, can't tell his ass from his elbow, and definately couldn't spell either. These two guys don't have it out for the kids, but still have no problem handing them a few "Atomic Wedgies" if they get in their way, either.
